Scouting in our area is very popular and we have a substantial waiting list, which unfortunately means that we cannot always offer a place to potential members as soon as we would like.

We operate a single waiting list and each young person will be considered for the Section appropriate to their age at the time. However, please be aware that we rarely take young people beyond Beaver age because spaces are filled by children moving up through the Group. It is also difficult to predict when or if a child will get a place as it depends on spaces, age at the time and position on the list –– a child is not guaranteed a place just by being on the waiting list.

The minimum age at which any Young Person can enter the Waiting List is age 4 and there is no maximum age for registration up to age 17 Explorers.

You will receive an email from us once your child is registered, if you do not hear from us within 1 month then please get back in touch.
